I'm not that conflicted. If ACB is only going to add about $250M to the Canadian revenue pot, splitting it between the remaining players won't be that big of a deal.

Breaking up ACB into its component parts to sell off at auction may not even yield 10¢ on the dollar. Who needs greenhouses? Much of the plant and equipment assets are specific to the cannabis business. Everyone has what they need already. No one is hoping for more. Not for at least another few years or until US legalization, if importation will be allowed, but that sounds like crazy talk.

Selling off ACB is like selling a mall. No one is lining up for them either. No one needs or wants them.

Aphria may post Q1 revenues north of $180M. If so, they may be profitable too.

Like I said, thank heavens the deal between ACB and Aphria was one Simon was wise enough to walk away from.
