Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Democratic socialists brigade wants to turn New York City far-left — from the ground up.

It would serve them right if she succeeds. Although it appears that NYC is already socialist. They are already practicing the "what is good for thee, applies not to me" socialist ideology, amongst other socialist agendas.

It is why they are so heavily in debt that they are trying to get the rest of the country to bail them out. It is also why many are fleeing the city, in such huge numbers, that Cuomo and De Blasio are begging those that left to return to high taxes and a lack of safety. AOC really screwed the pooch when she killed the Amazon deal, which would have provided not only jobs but much needed tax revenue.

Why is it liberals seem so ass backward, when it comes to making things better? And yet, their constituents continue to put them back in office, to work against their own needs and priorities?
