What kids get largely depends on the teacher and facilities. Funding and salary all come into that. Also social conditions children live in.

And as a matter of fact kids today are better educated in general than they were decades ago. Certainly many are more knowledgeable that their parents ever were.

And interest and curiosity of the children is important to. Having a president as Trump who slams and ignores experts, encourages violence and insult, and who measures the worth of people by how wealthy they are is only a poor role model for schoolchildren today.
