It is a scam. Most of the UV technology has been in use for years in HVAC and water purification systems.

The cost to install enough fixtures in an average NYC one million square feet building would be prohibitive based on their claims. Just a guesstimate but a building of that size would probably need 3000 units. Also the lights would probably need to be replaced yearly.
