The PR didnt state the trials are completed but now EXTENDED, as in present tense continuing

The quote is

"The original healthcare tests have been completed and the trial was expanded to include a smaller hospital in Hartlepool,"

Stating it was expanded does not mean it is still in progress. I read it to mean it was expanded to include the hospital - nothing more or less. The PR is too ambiguous to determine if that hospital trial has been completed
