Interesting theory. So, my question is, if this is in fact true, why have cities, controlled by Democrats, not directed their efforts to quell the crime and violence in those "microgeographic hot spots"? It was the tactic used by Rudy Giuliani in New York, while mayor of that city. That tactic was, along with search and frisk, abandoned and New York, once considered the safest major metropolitan city in America, has now become one of the most crime ridden, in the country, under Democrat leadership.

So, I beg to differ. Policies that are those of a political ideology, do have some bearing on the amount of crime, in any given city. The implementation of decriminalizing or making crimes lesser offenses, along with bail free release sends a message to criminals and in fact, encourages them to perpetrate crime. Just my logical opinion, but then, who am I to have an opinion, when all the intelligentsia have it all figured out. Guess that is why everything is so wonderful in Detroit, LA, Chicago and New York, right?
