“Ethereum (ETH) founder, Vitalik Buterin, recently admitted that he sold (and gave away) his Ether holdings for cash when the price was just $700. While he did not say he sold his entire ETH stake, which is rather unlikely, Nairametrics has not been able to figure out how many ETH coins was actually sold.
“I sold ETH at $700, or about half the top (actually, both sold and donated). The Ethereum Foundation sold at $1200, and that money has gone into devs and grants since then,” he tweeted.
ETH founder FINALLY offers some transparency and admits selling at peak of bull rally as ETH foundation sold at $1200 and he sold at $700 for development and grants? Lol! People fail to recognize the fact that EVERY company/founders sell and we have no idea how often they do so. Ripple is the only one who is transparent about it and it should be noted that they don’t have to be because they’re a private company. No one is as transparent as Ripple...period! We have no idea what goes on in other ecosystems because the crypto companies, who are private, refuse to be transparent about their holdings and how much they sell. Ripple is the only one who is fully transparent with their holdings and how much they sell within their ecosystem and its always per the average daily volume. Personally, transparency is an absolute must and is one of the reasons I confidently hold XRP. HODL strong longs!
