300 miles +/- on ground based electric
Typical hobby and professional electric drones have reasonable payload, I think getting up there to big enough to carry a human, but... range again... bad range
Consider this, a weapon only has to travel slightly faster than you can run in order to be effective, and it does not have to drop from the air in order to go boom
And they all can coordinate "swarm"
It is just bad news all the way around
