I just love those phrases...

On a side note, decreased PT is a major, obvious clinical manifestation of advanced-stage liver disease. In fact, some have postulated that a simpler, less invasive formula exists to predict outcomes without a liver biopsy (using platelet counts in a formula, related to PT)
