BEWARE: Trouble lurks within at Venturis Therapeutics

BEWARE! I believe anyone looking at purchasing stock in Venturis Therapeutics needs to exercise great caution and do very, very careful due diligence. There's reason to believe someone is trying to dump their Venturis Therapeutics stock onto unsuspecting (new) investors, and given the repeated reference to "GG" it may well be Grant Gordon. Venturis is an insolvent, illiquid, failed, zombie company that is facing imminent liquidation after having lost a 7-figure judgement. I believe anyone who purchases stock in this company through a private stock transaction (see posts #2373 and #2445) is going to lose 100% of their investment, and in near-record time.

The latest "rumors" are that "one of the largest financial institutions in the world" is about to invest in Venturis Therapeutics. In my opinion, there's exactly a 0.00% chance that will happen. Why do I believe this:

1) Venturis is insolvent according to Venturis CFO Robert Schleizer.

2) Venturis is illiquid according to bankruptcy Judge Gary Spraker.

3) Venturis's CEO is facing a trial brought by the U.S. government for allegedly stealing $14 million from his previous company.

If #1 and #2 weren't fatal, #3 certainly is. And the chances that any large institution would do due diligence on Venturis Therapeutics and fail to unearth that Calvin Wallen III is an accused crook by the U.S. government is zilch.
