As I read that news, it looks like they are going to do bunkering operation come this month for 75 ships a day in this new oil residue contract. Under new international controlled oil pollution prevention laws.
Don't know much about shipping or that service, but 75 ships a day times what number... are they making on each job? Would it be safe to say $100.00 on the low side. That is $7500 a day times 365= $2.7 million a year profit, sales would be much higher. Not including there oil barge operation in July. If someone knows about this service and maybe they would make more, would love to hear an opinion. TIA.
