Just discovered that the "Prototype testing" was done at the Nanostructured Metals Manufacturing Testbed (NMMT) at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado before the licensing deal or the units were even sent over to Fort Wayne Metals. Proof right here...
"Prototype coil-to-coil system in operation with the ECAP-C machine at the Nanostructured Metals Manufacturing Testbed".

Since it has been over a year, just imagine the prototype could be going into production soon.
