Once more...none of that happens UNTIL the stock is canceled.

That can take a long time.

WHILE they wait they are still in the hook for $2.50 per share in margin, the interest continues to accumulate and needs to be paid on the position in addition to the fees.

That can eat all of the “extra” $0.30 in ‘profit’ per share if they decide to wait....which can be as long as a year or even years.

THAT’S why someone would want to close out their position now....and not wait.
