Yes sir, will be big business for PCTL...

Currently there are 225 NHS Trusts in the United Kingdom and anyone who knows how the social healthcare systems work knows that once one trust comes on board, the rest will normally follow suit.

One or two trusts doesn't sound like much to someone that doesn't understand how the system works, but each one of those is responsible for the approval and purchasing of equipment for multiple hospitals, clinics and long term care facilities.

As an example, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust manages 14 Hospitals and Clinics and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust manages 17 Hospitals and Clinics. And those 31 Hospitals and Clinics do not represent the Long Term Care facilities under their control as well.

North Tees and Hartlepool Staff from Procurement, Supplies, Estates and Facilities moved to the company on 1 March 2018. This is a unique opportunity to explore innovative ways of working, to identify pathways for development and for the trust to improve our financial stability.

Managing Director of North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions Peter Mitchell said: "North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is an important development for the trust in maintaining its competitive position in the local health economy. The new company will allow for innovative ways of working, aiming to reinvest profits into patient care in the trust. It will fully maintain the trust-owned buildings and estate, generating its own income and paying its own bills. While we know that the quality of the support services currently provided is already good, the new company will give us an opportunity to consider if and how they could be further improved and help us to open up new income streams and opportunities which can ultimately benefit our trust. Owning the company outright also means the trust can offer opportunities and security to NT&H facilities management staff."

This is not a new idea – it is an improved variation on activity happening across the country. Other trusts have already implemented this with great success and, during our project, we have worked closely with neighbouring trusts who have shared their learning.

Stability is our highest priority for staff, patients and North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions as a whole. This is an insourcing process; while the company will operate as a separate limited liability business, it will remain proudly “by the NHS, for the NHS”.”

Annihilyzer® Infection Control System, clarifies the study period for the hospital trial and testing in the United Kingdom. The efficacy and efficiency studies of PCT Corp.’s Annihilyzer® Infection Control System,
deployed in the United Kingdom, are slated to begin this week. Upon completion, comprehensive results are expected late in the 1st quarter or early in the 2nd quarter of this year.

Specialist Coronavirus pods are being installed at two hospitals on Teesside.

The pods at University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton and University Hospital Hartlepool in Hartlepool are isolated areas where any suspected cases of coronavirus can be assessed.
