You get paid every week, 2 weeks, or once a month. His salary accumulates. To say he gets it is very different than saying you and I get paid. He hasn't gotten his yet. I can't live off of virtual paychecks like he is. He of course will get paid at some time.

I think it matters none. You knew this early on and are still here with enough interest to post a this board. Would you say founders of companies typically own "tons of shares?" That is rhetorical.
