Now that the CDC is not collecting data anymore and we have to rely on HHS which has not said they will be making data public for researchers we can't rely on government data. While states are posting their numbers they often didn't post what they use to post to the CDC regards availability of Hospital beds, ICU beds, Patients intubated and ventilated, types of testing done etc. that they all had to report to CDC. States have been making some info public depending on the states. If you want to see a good state see MA site.

I'm sure there are other states but some states hardly anything. I can't fathom rolling out a system like this with giving only two days warning to Hospitals who supply the data. Makes zero sense as most hospitals had already integrated their systems directly into the CDC seamlessly. Crazy and really serious. Numbers are going to be made up is some areas of the country
