The way i read it to be "woke" doesn't mean you are wishing for anything.

That wasn't what I mean't.

Every country has their heroes but along with them come the skeletons in the closet.

So be careful what you wish for if you want to join the woke or cancel culture crowd.

Obviously it is a balancing act to accept the good with the bad and reconcile them.
