CPASally you are so correct. Great reminder that we are all in this together as a human race (no slight to pet owners) and should give back and pay it forward.

I posted the message below last week and got a showing of a couple of members who were interested. It's only a suggestion for those desiring to make a personal choice. I'm going to draft up an email to Barclays and a couple of others this week to see if they have a program that can support this under UK laws/regulations and how can people transfer shares (tax free ?). If it can be done then we would need to get the families' agreement/participation.

OK. Here’s one that’s way out there for those who may be familiar with the process/mechanics of doing something like this and can help….

Holly Kennedy is the lady from Ireland undergoing Leronlimab treatment in conjunction with her chemo back at home right now. There’s no way of knowing how this will work out for her. She’s taking great chances on her own to give this a shot at changing her life for the better.

Her husband, Derek, and Holly have a son named Andrew (about 4yo) who may or may not get to have his mother growing up. There is no certainty in this and frankly very sad after hearing the news of Sarah Wright’s passing within days short of receiving Leronlimab treatment. Sarah leaves behind a husband (Adam) and a very young daughter Everleigh.

Here’s my proposal…..

Is there any way that the compassionate LONGS here can donate/buy some CYDY shares to create a education/endowment for these two brave lady’s children?

A few shares right now are literally chump change to many of us and think of what it can grow to when these kids are 18yo and ready to go to college. Some way to recognize how much these brave young women and families contributed to helping give Leronlimab a chance.

I know there are so many others participating in trials that may be equally worthy, but I see these two children and tears come to my eyes about what they’re going through.

There has to be some financial/lawyer types that can donate their time to get this rolling.

If there’s an airtight and legal way to do it – I’m in for 50 shares per kid.

What say ?
