My understanding is that waivers are available for Zing and similar technologies if they can demonstrate capabilities, etc

So, for say an individual hospital to lab drone run, Zing has
capabilities that may enable a waiver to be secured.

FAA is big on "comparable level of safety" being maintained, so a waiver might not be too difficult for a rancher miles away from
anyone ... whereas an urban operation might face more scrutiny / hoops.

Part 135 operations would be required for commercial / for hire operations?

Hopefully FAA regs will continue to loosen up, as they are very
restrictive and expensive to comply with.

Currently for non line of sight multiple location commercial drone ops
a Part 135 certificate is required.

Perhaps Deuce doesnt need to give up, but they definitely need to rethink their current business plan.
