That isn't true the OTCM uses the FINRA Bi-weekly report. They certainly don't use short volume.

The OTCshortreport is not a valid source for anything. They are a paid promotions website run by an ex-broker who was thrown out of the business. 

That data is not short interest. It is purportedly short volume, although I question if that is even true since many times those figures don't match FINRA's. 

Short volume and short interest are NOT the same thing. Short Interest is shares that are actually short. The only factor in a source of that data is FINRA, the actual legal regulator of the OTC Market.
