Double what Liv? How much? Medtronic is not going to give up what they put into it PLUS the potential market share they will gain once they are selling the device. Only way they decide to sell their 30% share is if the device isn't all that, which I doubt will be the case.
Run the scenario in your head... you think if MDT offers $3 to $5 bil to Titan in 2 years, ISRG is gonna say, "hey, we will give ya $9 billion?" That means MDT gets roughly $3 bil for their share ownership of the company. MDT is not going to give up the potential market share (MIS market estimated $33 billion by 2026) for $3 billion. And that deal doesn't leave us (Titan stockholders) in much better of a position than if Medtronic just plunked down $5 bil for the remaining 70% of Titan.
