I sent a message to Sarah Starostka who is involved in the permit process and asked the following question. This should tell us a response is coming in the near future.
I wanted to inquire about the Air Permit with NDEE number 97622 that had a public comment through May 18th. We have yet to see any information posted on it by the State of Nebraska. I was looking for an update from you on where things stand at this time and when we should expect a response from the NDEE or a air permit formally issued? Any insight would be appreciated.
Her response:
NDEE has reviewed comments that were received during the public notice period and is in the processing of drafting a formal response summary. Once finalized the summary will be placed in the facility file. NDEE anticipates that a decision on the permit action to be made soon.
