I don't think it's called failure when it was an intentional scam. He is actually very successful by those standards. He should be locked up and forced to pay restitution to the no doubt thousands of investors he's defrauded.

I doubt he's actually bankrupt...maybe the companies/LLCs or whatever are bankrupt, but I'm sure he's got plenty of money squirreled away somewhere...family members' names, trusts, Caymans.
