On your oil question... It's true the US hasn't derived a nickle from Iraqi oil... ooops. They actually fought back. But the longer term goal is quite obvious to everyone but your denialists. The US has conquered a major, largely untapped oil supply, and at the top they have no intention of returning it.

As far as the war on terror, we removed one of the only impediments to religious fundemantalism in the region. Now if we could only get Syria out of the pitcure we could turn the whole place over to the Islamists. Nice job.
