As you may imagine, many of us here who have taken other people's words for their Due Dilligence have been burned. Many times, erudite and rational postings have been made, alleging to convey correct information, and cite credible sources.

Only later, when folks have gotten around to the detailed checking have things been found to be amiss in some way, or sources untraceable or non-existent.
