vix tags 9.64. I actually thought the first time it went under ten awhile back that that would be it but its gone lower now...its lost its importance and that will swing back again in a few years, certainly after 2010 if not before

Imhdo, the vix is headed to under ten when this is all over. You know how it is. The folks who did insanely well for 20 years have struggled the past three, their indicators not working until the past 6 months. And the new genius crowd that has used the vix to keep them out of trouble for 3 years, well they are having a helluva time...and it's going to get a lot worse for them. Just mo.
