Sadly, The Government doesn't learn very quickly. What happened to Cruise Ships and at the Washington Nursing homes should have taught us a lesson.

Before it's all over close to 50% of NYS deaths will be from nursing homes.

This all goes back to PPE. While the State was going crazy trying to provide protection workers they forgot one key element, and that was they had to protect the invalid from the health care workers.

The State provided no PPE to the Nursing or Acute Care facilities and around 7 weeks ago the State issued an Executive order that no nursing home could reject a patient that was discharged from a hospital. Today the order changed that no hospital can discharge a nursing home patient until they test negative of Covid.

Too Little, Too Late.

There were numerous innocent mistakes made by everyone but hopefully we'll learn.
