Yes, it seems clear that in Australia politics is not placed ahead of people's health nearly as much as is happening in America.

Still it's good to see some states ban interstate movement in America, even while Mnuchin is encouraging nationwide travel.

Re the weekend dip, maybe that suggests it's more difficult to get into either heaven or hell on weekends.
