Yes, the MMs usually feed off of these pinks and other little companies using equity financing. The problem is that when a company has fixed expenses they have to meet(ie debt payments), then they have to sell more and more and more shares as the price drops.

They create their own death spiral, with a little help from the MMs. It is why you never hold pinks long term, especially if they have no revenue and need lots of capital to get moving (like Oil&Gas).

They probably thought this was a no brainer, especially with the DTC issue. That is why they are unfraid to create market caps that seem ridiculous, because it is usually followed by a torrent of selling by the company.

The only no brainer here now is holding my shares.
