Filing for bankruptcy, any chapter, gives the debtor protection from its creditors. It's for companies having difficulty paying their debts, and a company with a value of $540M and a debt (with liabilities) of $100M has a lot of options, $440M of net equity to draw against by getting a loan against it or even by selling stock. There is no universe that a bankruptcy court would accept a bankruptcy filing for a company with that net value as it is in no financial distress. That is truly ridiculous to even suggest.
