Seems like a simple concept, but here we are almost a year later trying to explain.
the Dunning–Kruger effect seems to be in full effect on the TTCM board.
"In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with low ability at a task overestimate their ability. It is related to the cognitive bias of illusory superiority and comes from the inability of people to recognize their lack of ability."
Someone loses money on a trade, therefore it must be a scam, rather than poor judgement by those who sold just weeks before a 7000% gain.
