In theory GTC could attempt this, but it’s not in their current plans and it probably won’t be in their future plans, IMO.

There is plenty of business for GTC to seek out by replicating endogenous proteins. Once you start tweaking compounds to improve them, the regulatory hurdles increase by an order of magnitude.
