There are the less obvious intrusion cases: Why is it that consumers don't lift their fingers knowing full well that certain, apparently legitimate, entities can place code on the PC without having to prompt?. By doing so the property, in this case the PC, is unknowingly altered and, in the best case, slowed performance is the result. Of course I am referring to SPYWARE.
It has often crossed my mind - especially after some Nappa Merlot - to take-up this issue and take it to the courts...
