liattlefish: How do they define a "new case"? Does a "new case" include someone who tests positive for COVID-19 but who otherwise seems healthy? Does 10K mean 10K news hospitalizations State-wide? An aside: I didn't like Gov. Cuomo's comment that the Governor of Oregon's sending the State 200 (2000?) ventilators is both "nice" (or "kind) AND "smart", because it will help in stopping the spread to other States. He should have said it was "nice/kind" and let it go at that. To me, that was the statement of a street-wise smart Alec. Didn't like it.
