C: I think you have touched one of my biases. For the forseeable future, I don't think there is anything one can buy and forget. If one believe we are in a cyclical bull market which will end and one day put us back at the lows of 2003, there is nothing much to love and tuck away. In fact, an ideal time for the market to dump under this scenario would be if and when the SPX matches its prior high of 1520 or whatever.

If you look at the current market, it does not behave like a typical bull market that I have experienced. There are many stocks that have done absolutely nothing in this market for the past three years. They have rolled up and down and have gone no place. There are other stocks that have rolled over and rolled up countless times and some of these are at around their lows even while the market makes its highs. A typical bull market lifts all boats. This bull market is about shifting boats especially in the tech. arena. It is a constant game of musical chairs whereas a good bull ride is to just find a chair and to sit on it.

So, I guess I don't look beyond the next few months and what is presently before me. I think everything has the potential to just reverse and lose it all at any time. And if and when that bear trend reasserts itself, theire is not much that will go untouched.
