Relax a bit Fern. Think about it, all these hospital were in the chitters to varying extents before COVID. Goes without saying.

To survive they needed Government changes/bailout(s) of somesorts anyhow, and now they can kill two birds.

Because of the damages incurred, the massive amount of emergency healthcare money at the Governments disposal, and the serious need for these beds I dont think the Government can turn a blind eye at this time. Today they have wrote a direct and concise business case to justify the funds.

The pod took me off guard at first, but it's actually solid PR from Seamus today and likely wasn't aimed at us TBH given what is going on. The 8K clears it up with clear legal language that cannot easily be ignored by Government officials.
