NRZ, et al. - R59, that was a very well written article. If anything, it identified so many "moving parts" in this highly complex financial sector, where pulling one lever has enormous ramifications elsewhere, that i'm feeling the need to stay entirely away from any names with NON-AGENCY MBSs in this mReit sector, like NRZ. (Accordingly, early this a.m. i pulled my very low "stink bids" to re-buy any shares again down in the upper $4s.)
Book values could really plunge even for what otherwise seem like great cos. with highly competent mgmt teams.
As for the agency mREITs like NLY and AGNC, they doubled in shareprice since the "capitulation day" of selling on March 18. Now they're dropping back down a bit. Hard to know where new support levels are.....
