tbills, you are taking my idea too far. the intention of putting the uwink inset terminal in hotel rooms isn't to try and get peopel to never leave the room but to maximize hotel food service revenue/in room entertainment revenue. can the inset uwink self service terminal increase food/drink revenue 5-10%? will it reduce costs by 1-2%? will it increase in-room entertainment use by kids/adults by 5%? can the terminal be used to highlight services/deals by local businesses, resulting in advertising/sponsorship revenue? for a family on vacation, would displaying local attracations and options and making it simple to purchause tickets through the terminal actually be a benefit to the customer, the hotel, and the local businesses?

Dude, most people don't go on a vacation and pay to stay in a hotel with plans of sitting in their room for hours eating rooom service and playing games set into their room's table. When I go on vacation I usually am in my room just for sleeping and showering.
