Potential Distributions???

If I were tying a settlement that was years away from happening, how would I do it? First of all, there is no way to know specific dates or years with the immense process that would have to happen.

BUT, there are known actions/events that would have to happen that could be used.

1) So, in the WaMu bankruptcy cases, it would be known years in advance that these cases must terminate at some point

2) A settlement of sorts could have incorporated the termination of the WaMu Bankruptcy cases plus the next scheduled distribution date post-court-approved bankruptcy termination of these cases

3) January 23, 2020, was the court recognized and the official date of termination for the WaMu Bankruptcy cases

4) The next scheduled distribution date would be after the first quarter ends which is March 31, 2020, so my guess the scheduled distribution date would be between April 15 and May 15 of the year 2020

5) In the cases of the DB/JPM/FDIC 65 billion settlement of the California case, it may be the Trustee sends the monies to DTC/Clearstream who has a list of investors who signed timely releases and then sends the monies on to the Brokers now that the Administrative Hold has been released due to the termination of the cases on 1/23/2020

6) It is possible we are on the cusp of potential distributions HOWEVER, I will not hold my breath YET
