How many deaths would there be if nothing extraordinary were being done? The problem here is not the number of deaths presently. The problem is the virulence. The past flu types you could expect to pass to about ten people within a week. This one spreads to 45 in a week.
This is a great lesson on preparedness. The world may well start thinking like we should be thinking of what it means to be human. I am not for any kind of world government but I am for strong collaboration and openness. I sure hope all this backfires on the DSS. It may well could and we end up in a much better place than ever thought possible. The DSS does not want us thinking out of the box. This could be a really great planet to live on. War should not even be in the equation. Leave it to the DSS to keep providing the world with enemies. Aliens from deep space surely must be in their line up!!
