Maybe he would do better to find 5 investors to loan $10K each or 10 investors to invest $5K each. With the hit that most have taken with the markets in the last 4 weeks or so a person would think hard about putting out $50K in this current economy.

If someone tries to convince you to buy a stock they usually have a personal agenda to do so. Not because they are concerned about you making money but about convincing you to buy so they can make money. Same is true for those yelling sell.
