I get anxious also. What I find easier than looking at a map with large red blobs is to look at the math.

54 / MI population = % of MI population that are infected, or
54/10,000,000 * 100

It comes out to 0.0005% if I'm not mistaken. Is this 5 in a million? Not sure, but if so it doesn't sound as bad as the map looks.
