SHANGHAI, China, Oct 6, 2003 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- SINA Corporation (SINA) , China's leading online media and entertainment company and provider of mobile value-added services for China and for global Chinese communities, announced that on October 2, 2003 it filed a shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to register for resale its Zero Coupon Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2023, issued in July 2003 in a private placement, and the ordinary shares into which the notes are convertible.
