The only missing link: the odd timing of this announcement.

Something that gives me hope the webcast will contain more than a description of mix-and-match and related developments: the long delay between the announcement in Feb and the webcast Mar 19.

Why wait to make the announcement? The delay caused the share price to lose momentum. If this is just techie stuff, he could have made the presentation days ago.

The thread I’m clinging to at this moment is this: to stop the share price erosion, Thompson put out the PR in Feb, but had to wait until Mar. 19 to coordinate with another company. Thursday pm is not a good time to release good news unless coordination is called for.

Not much of a thread there, but it’s my best hope we don’t tank Mar. 20.
