whats up with Louie....Louis Oosthuizen lasted seven holes at THE PLAYERS Championship before withdrawing from the event. A left shoulder injury was the culprit for this WD.
The South African has a long history of injuries (mostly related to his back) but he was shaking the reputation as an WD-threat until recently. This will go in the books as his ninth career mid-tourney WD on the PGA TOUR but first since 2015. He also has his share of 11th-hour WDs which don't go on the books as a WD. Oosthuizen started his morning with a pair of pars before swallowing double bogey, bogey, and bogey over the next three holes. His last recorded shot was a successful par putt at the par-4 seventh hole. He was 4-over through seven holes before calling it quits. Gamers should wait for some good results to pour in before they consider reinvestment in future weeks.
