The point I'm making is you can't compare Covid-19 to the flu. CDC estimates up to 45 million yearly cases of flu world wide. WHO on March 7 said that world wide cases of Covid-19 just passed 100,000. Its a brand new virus. No one knows if it will weaken in the summer or not. No one knows if medical science can even create a vaccine. No one knows how many cases are in the U.S. right now because of pitifully inadequate testing compared to other countries. So anyone saying it's as not as bad, the same, or worse as the flu is just useless.
