I was in HealthSouth years back, many years back. It was trading at $12 a share one day, the next morning it open up at 12 cents a share, I bought it $0.15 a share.. and this is one of the stocks that after two years later gave shares to the existing shareholders who still held onto the original shares.. And yes. They wiped out the original shares as well...
