Cassandra, I know you have read this many times. From the Sept. 10th PR on the digEplayer.

"Our engineers have expanded e.Digital’s MicroOS™ platform to add secure video playback technology through the development of proprietary encryption and hardware."

Now what is it that you do not understand about those words.

From your post: There is no proof or even evidence that e.Digital had anything to do with the security measures for the digEplayer
