The standard treatment for those found to have Covid 19 here(Canada) is to go home and self quarantine. i.e. the same advice given to those with a cold. So far Covid doesn't kill 2%. It's less than 1%.

The more people exposed now, the greater the immunity in the population and the lower probability of an impact should there be a second round of Covid 19 next year. Pathogens adapt or die out. so do humans and other life forms. Live with it.

I think Darwin said. "evolve or die".

the common cold doesn't cause death in 2% of those who get it or cause significantly more to need hospitalization.
