gfp: Lately the timing has been predictable. On big down days you go long into the close. On big up days, like today, you go short into the close. We were up big today and the overnight Dow Futures are already down over 200 points. A few Puts or Calls would not be a big risk to take. And you could scalp a grand here and a grand there. If tomorrow is a big down day I may pick up a few calls toward the close if I'm home. We have family visiting from Chicago over the next 5 days. They needed to escape the tundra (and the gunfire).
